Molding Machine

Morgan Industries Injection Molding Machine G-100T

Excellent machine for prototyping, due to clearance, vertical attitude, temperature, pressure, etc. but inadequate for production due to low melting rate, poor clamping, and inadequate controls.

This machine is unable to compete on a volume basis with other machines in its molding parameter range. I would wish to keep this machine as a short run and prototyping machine to compliment a new faster machine able to produce parts at near the cost of the plastic alone. Reduce the cost of some parts from $3.00 down to 30 cents, and the project becomes profitable. Labor is the factor which does this, as one man replaces ten.

Milling machine

Adequate but labor intensive for complex shapes, and large cuts. Used for mold making and general machining.

Able to machine parts for molds, and molds themselves.
